Histopathological spectrum of prostatic diseases in Bahawalpur; An experience at QAMC/BVH.

Objective: To see the spectrum of prostatic lesions at a tertiary care hospital Southern Punjab. Study Design: Retrospective study. Setting: Department Histopathology, Quaid-e-Azam Medical College, Bahawalpur. Period: 2nd June, 2021 till 31st December, 2021. Material & Methods: descriptive study was conducted in The data collected from histopathological files and already diagnosed June December Statistical analysis done using SPSS with confidence interval 95% p-value ≤0.05 considered as significant. Chi-square applied to find association age year diagnosis. Results: Total 126 patients were documented 2021, out which 92 (73%) Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia, commonly group 60 years above. Adenocarcinoma having Gleason scores 6 below frequent our same Conclusion: In study, there higher prevalence diseases compared other most occurring less present (11.9%) scoring above years.
